It is fitting that just over 40 years after Neil Armstrong walked on the moon and uttered some of the most famous words ever spoken, “one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind,” NASA, along with cloud service provider Rackspace, jointly launched an open-source cloud-software initiative known as OpenStack.
