Average total cost of data breach increases to Rs 97.3 million: IBM study - Times of India

The total average cost paid by a company due to a data breach increased from Rs 88.5 million to Rs 97.3 million in 2016 in India, according to a new study conducted by the Ponemon Institute on behalf of IBM Security . The study analyzed the financial impact of data breaches on a company’s bottomline.
