Take action: Identity theft increases by 200 per cent in six years - Boksburg Advertiser

This is according to Manie van Schalkwyk, executive director of the SA Fraud Prevention Service (SAFPS).
“In the United States about 15 million residents have their identities stolen each year, costing the country $50 billion, according to the US Identity Theft and Scam Prevention Service,” said van Schalkwyk.
